A weekend past.... we got up for at least 1 good day in Mackinaw City. The day of island adventures was washed out by rain. The city was almost a ghost town, but still chocolate sweets were still being sold and we did purchase. We drove around looking at beach homes and sites; we skipped rocks on the michigan lake; the thunderbird inn ghost, who was trying to turn on the lamp, visited shannon in her sleep. All in all, it was a good time.
The afore named "janked" car has been repaired and finally sits in my parking lot. Today was the best fall day of them all- 60 some degrees. I took the car out for a washing, picked up some groceries, and checked in on a job I am trying to get. Everything else is good. That's all for now.
