Here and There

Shannon and I went to Rapid City, SD, sat for a picnic in this park and then flew a kite.

The kite flew like a champ,
but almost decapitated a innocent grandma and got stuck in not one tree but two. Later after fall-crashing from a superb flight, a support brace broke. A small wooden dowel was the number one fixer. It's the best 6 foot diamond kite ever for 10 bucks.

Of course a trip to Mt. Rushmore was in order.

Taylor (the niece) and I on the swings. Shannon behind the diggy cam.

Part of RoughLock Falls: one of the many awesome sites in Spearfish Canyon.

Atop Dinosaur Park, Shannon and I sport our killer red Slurpee tongues.
